HVAC/Ducting Installer
Job Type: Temporary work – 2 to 5 weeks of work
Pay Rate: $20 – $30 depending on experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Installer as a temp position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC installation, including commercial projects. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our HVAC systems are functioning optimally, meeting safety standards, and providing optimal comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment, in a commercial setting according to blueprints, specifications, and local codes.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute HVAC installation projects efficiently and effectively.
- Assemble and install refrigerant lines, air ducts, and ensuring proper insulation, sealing, and connections.
- Test installed HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Vocational or technical training in HVAC installation preferred.
- Previous experience as an HVAC Installer, with a demonstrated track record of successful installations in both residential and commercial settings.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation components.
- Familiarity with HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in HVAC installation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
